Our Bioactive Berberine delivers a highly bioavailable, plant-derived form standardized for potency and consistency. Berberine supports healthy blood sugar metabolism, lipid balance, and metabolic function. Research shows it may aid in maintaining healthy insulin sensitivity, promoting cardiovascular health, and supporting a balanced inflammatory response.

The formula for this product contains NO milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, soy, wheat, sesame, or artificial preservatives, colors, sweeteners or flavors and is manufactured in a facility that is externally validated by NSF International to meet or exceed all government standards (the FDA’s GMP or Good Manufacturing Practices).

Bioactive Berberine – Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement, take two (2) capsules once daily. For best results, take 20–30 minutes before a meal or as directed by your healthcare professional.  Always check with your healthcare practitioner before starting a supplement regimen.

Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if:                      

  • You are taking any medication or have any medical conditions.
  • You are pregnant or nursing.
  • You are taking medications for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, or anticoagulants (blood thinners), including warfarin (Coumadin®) or antiplatelet agents like clopidogrel (Plavix®).
  • You are on medications metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes (especially CYP3A4, CYP2D6, and CYP2C9), as berberine may affect their activity. This includes immunosuppressants like cyclosporine (Neoral®, Sandimmune®).
  • You are scheduled for surgery or a medical procedure.
  • You have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this supplement.

Berberine may lower blood sugar levels. Use caution if you are also taking medications or supplements that affect blood glucose.

Like many foods and supplements, some of the nutrients in this supplement are known to affect the P450 pathway in the liver. As a result, certain prescription medications may be affected. Please consult your healthcare practitioner if taking any prescription medication.
